MANILA, Philippines—Some areas in Metro Manila and Bulacan will have power interruptions this week due to maintenance work, Meralco said on Sunday.

In Metro Manila, some parts of Brgy. Bagong Silang-Kaliwa, Caloocan City, and in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan will have no electricity on August 31, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of the installation of poles and line reconductoring and reconstruction work in Phase 4-Packages 8 and 9, and Phase 9 Package 1 in Bagong Silang-Kaliwa.

Affected areas include a portion of Barugo Road near Paraiso Road in Phase 4 Package 1, Bagong Silang-Kaliwa; a portion of Barugo Road from Supremo Road to Langit Road including portion of Phase 4 Packages 6 and 7 in Bagong Silang-Kaliwa; a portion of Langit Road from Barugo Road to Phase 4 Packages 8 and 9 Road including portion of Phase 4 Packages 7, 8 and 9 in Bagong Silang-Kaliwa, Caloocan City; a portion of Phase 4 Packages 8 and 9 Road from Langit Road in Bagong Silang - Kaliwa, Caloocan City to and including Evergreen Heights Subd. Phase 1 and Sitio Tubigan in Bgy. Gaya-Gaya, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan; Iglesia Ni Cristo-Lokal ng Bagong Silang 9; and a portion of Phase 9 Packages 1 and 2 in Bagong Silang-Kaliwa, Caloocan City.

In Manila, some areas in Brgy. San Miguel will have no power on September 2-3 between 10:30 p.m. and 10:59 p.m. and between 5:01 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. because of preventive maintenance and testing work inside Meralco – Tegen substation.

Affected areas include a portion of Arlegui St. from Aguado St. to Jose Laurel St. including La Consolacion College, National Commission on The Role of Filipino Women and Laperal Mansion; a portion of Aguado St. from Arlegui St. to Jose Laurel St. including Aguado Ext. St.; Cabel Restaurant and Aguado’s Place; a portion of San Rafael St. from Arlegui St. to Jose Laurel St. including La Casarita Condormitel, Presidential Communications Office and Freedom Plaza; Hospicio De San Jose in Isla Convalencia; and Goldenberg Mansion and Teus Mansion along Gen. Some areas in Metro Manila, Bulacan to have brownouts due to maintenance work

In Bulacan, some parts of Bgy. Cutcot in Pulilan will have no electricity on September 2 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. because of the installation of electricity poles, relocation of facilities and line reconductoring work along Saint Ignatius St. in Bgy. Cutcot.

Also, some parts of Malolos City will have power interruptions on September 5 between 11 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. and between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. because of preventive maintenance and testing works inside Meralco – Malolos 2 substation.
